Make sure the caps are tightened, again, hand tight only. Fill to about 2 inches below the top, with approximately 1.2 litres of cold water, Tilt the pump back to fill the pump with water, then top up the Descaling kit. Switch on pump and test for leaks. Tighten fittings, caps if necessary then add descaler solution (Oust or
similar.
Run pump for a minimum of 30 minutes on heat (30°C-35°C) longer if you want.
*** Do not allow the pump (water) temperature to exceed 40° *** If you do, you'll encounter an E08 (high temp) error. If this occurs, reset the RCD, switch back on, carry out a thermal reset on the pump (push the button in the middle of the pump and reduce the temperature accordingly. It is usual for the solution to go very milky, the milkier the solution, the more limescale you are removing.
