The PureStream+ is designed to reduce water hardness in your hot tub, which can help lower maintenance costs in areas with hard water. Hard water causes uncomfortable scaling on the walls, white calcium deposits on your jets, and buildup in the filter. Limescale can also build up inside the heater, causing unseen damage. Over time, this can lead to calcium “flakes” appearing in your hot tub.
Using chemicals to deal with these issues can be both expensive and time-consuming. With PureStream+, it’s like filling your hot tub with high-quality bottled water. The ion exchange resin in PureStream+ removes unwanted calcium and magnesium from the water. The PureStream+ can reduce the calcium in the water by up to 40% for a 1000 litre hot tub fill helping to extend the life of the water heater, pumps, and filters.
Directions
Simply attach your garden hose to the filter and fill your hot tub using a slow/medium flow rate – the slower the fill the more effective the process.
Suitability/Application
The PureStream+ is suitable for a complete fill of an average-size 4-6 seat hot tub with a 1200 litre fill capacity. The PureStream+ is designed as a one or two use disposable product depending on the hot tub size and the local water hardness.
