The Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller will prevent and help remove scale deposits caused by mineral precipitation which can build up rapidly on pool or hot tub surfaces due to relatively high water temperatures.
It is essential to manage scale build‑up in hard water areas and this descaler is also perfect for the removal and control of metallic stains that can occur when metallic compounds start to oxidise due to prolonged exposure to water and air, or certain chemical components.
How does the Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller work?
The liquid scale controller contains chemicals that act as sequestering agents. These agents bind to the mineral ions, effectively surrounding them and preventing them from coming together to form scale.
Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller - Quick Start Guide:
Step 1: Test the water and ensure Total Alkalinity and pH are in range first.
Step 2: Measure the amount of liquid your need. Add 10ml per 1000L to start then 5ml per 1000L as weekly maintenance.
